Yes. Jaygee Industries formulates fragrance oils in adherence to the latest IFRA (International Fragrance Association) Standards of Practice. Fragrance concentrations are kept strictly below 10% w/w in all finished incense and candle products, and all fragrance compounds are screened against current IFRA prohibited and restricted ingredient lists before use in any export batch.

EU REACH (Regulation EC No 1907/2006) governs chemical substances placed on the EU market. When a European business imports fragrance oils or finished incense from India, the EU Importer of Record assumes full legal responsibility for REACH compliance. Jaygee Industries supports importers by providing ingredient composition data and SDS documents, and by guaranteeing non-use of substances restricted under REACH Annex XIV (Authorisation list) and Annex XVII — including phthalates and synthetic nitro musks.

We provide 16-section Safety Data Sheets consistent with EU CLP Regulation (EC No 1272/2008) and UK CLP, detailing fragrance constituents above reporting thresholds. For products containing sensitising allergens at or above 0.1%, we flag the relevant EUH208 disclosure (e.g. Contains Linalool, Coumarin). Final CLP label artwork, hazard pictograms, UFI codes and translated warning text are prepared and applied by the EU/UK importer or their appointed Only Representative.

SDS documents list hazardous fragrance constituents above REACH Annex II reporting thresholds, enabling buyers to complete their downstream CLP classification and Poison Centre Notification (PCN) dossiers. For EU and UK export batches, Jaygee Industries strictly excludes: phthalates (DEHP, DBP, BBP, DIBP) — REACH Annex XVII; synthetic nitro musks including Musk Xylene (REACH Annex XIV) and Musk Ketone; allethrin and synthetic pyrethroids — products are room fragrances, not biocidal; benzyl cyanide (phenylacetonitrile); and safrole, camphor and eucalyptol, excluded from EU batches to eliminate neurotoxicity and aspiration hazard classifications.

A UFI (Unique Formula Identifier) is a 16-character alphanumeric code required under Annex VIII of EU CLP Regulation for mixtures classified as hazardous. It links a finished product to its Poison Centre Notification (PCN) dossier submitted to ECHA. As a non-EU manufacturer without a registered EU legal entity, Jaygee Industries cannot directly generate UFI codes. The EU Importer of Record generates the UFI via the ECHA UFI Generator (linked to their own VAT or company key) and files the PCN dossier with ECHA or the UK NPIS prior to placing products on the market. We supply the ingredient data required to complete this process.

Following Brexit, the UK established its own independent chemical regulation — UK REACH — administered by the Health and Safety Executive (HSE). It operates in parallel to EU REACH but applies specifically to Great Britain (England, Scotland, Wales). Northern Ireland remains aligned to EU REACH under the Windsor Framework. UK importers of Jaygee fragrance oils must comply with UK REACH substance restrictions and register with the HSE as the UK Importer of Record. Jaygee Industries provides the same SDS and composition documentation for both EU and UK buyers.

Yes. Our fragrance oils are widely used by candle makers, incense producers, soap makers and cosmetic brands across Europe and the UK. We supply the ingredient transparency and SDS documentation needed for buyers to complete their own CLP classification, UFI generation, PCN submission and retail packaging. Final regulatory compliance and market authorisation remain the responsibility of the EU or UK importer.
