There is a reason Mysore became synonymous with the finest incense in India. The sandalwood forests of the old Mysore kingdom — stretching across present-day Karnataka — produced wood of a fragrance unmatched anywhere in the world. The spice markets of Malabar, just over the Western Ghats, supplied the aromatic herbs and resins that gave South Indian incense its distinctive warmth.

Mysore Nuggets™ draws from both. Ingredients are sourced from their places of origin within the erstwhile Mysore kingdom — the sandalwood, the Malabar spices, the halmaddi resin. Blended and hand-rolled in the traditional masala method, each stick is a tribute to the aromatic heritage of one of the world's great incense traditions.
