Dhoop Cups Rooted in Indian Heritage
Sambrani — the sacred smoke of Indian households for centuries. Our cup dhoop brings this ancient ritual into a convenient, ready-to-burn form. Crafted with authentic resins, natural herbs, and the purest tradition: no harsh chemicals, no shortcuts.
Sambrani — known as benzoin resin or loban in different parts of India — has been burned in Indian homes, temples, and rituals for thousands of years. The smoke is believed to purify the air, ward off negativity, and invite auspicious energy.
Cup Sambrani is the modern, convenient evolution: resin blends packed into ready-to-light charcoal or natural cups that burn steadily and release fragrant smoke for 10–20 minutes — perfect for daily puja, meditation, or home cleansing rituals.
"Every home in India has a memory of sambrani smoke — filling the kitchen at dawn, blessing the threshold, calming the mind before sleep."
At Jaygee Industries, we manufacture three distinct variants — each faithful to its traditional roots and available for wholesale B2B supply across India and for export.
From filled dhoop cups to empty ritual resin burners — each variant is rooted in a distinct Indian tradition and serves a specific ceremonial or aromatic purpose.
Black Charcoal Cups with Guggal & Benzoin
Our Loban cups are crafted from compressed black charcoal and filled with a rich blend of guggal (Indian bdellium, a sacred Ayurvedic resin) and benzoin (loban resin from Styrax trees). The charcoal base self-ignites quickly and sustains a long, even burn — releasing the deep, balsamic, slightly sweet smoke that has defined sambrani for generations.
Used widely for daily puja, cleansing rituals, mosquito repellent in homes, and ambient fragrance in shops and offices. One of the most popular dhoop formats across South and West India.
Sawdust · Sandalwood Powder · Desi Gai Gobar
Panchagavya — from the Sanskrit "pancha" (five) and "gavya" (cow products) — is one of India's oldest Ayurvedic formulations. Our Panchagavya cups are made with sawdust or sandalwood spent powder as the binding base, combined with desi gai gobar (cow dung) sourced exclusively from native Indian cow breeds.
The cows are sourced directly from Goshalas — shelters that rescue cows from slaughterhouses — making this not just a spiritual product but a deeply ethical one. The resulting cup burns with a gentle, earthy, grounding smoke revered in Vedic rituals and Ayurvedic practice.
6-in-1 Assorted Fragrances · Pack of 12 Cups
Rangoli is our most vibrant offering — a celebration of India's rich fragrance heritage in a single pack. Each pack of 12 cups contains six distinct fragrances, each cup colour-coded to its scent for easy identification. Two cups per fragrance, twelve cups total.
Ideal for gifting, festive retail, discovery kits, and hospitality. A single Rangoli pack is a complete olfactory journey through the flowers, resins, and woods of Indian fragrance tradition. Popular with wellness brands, gift stores, yoga studios, and export buyers looking for attractive retail SKUs.
Charcoal & Benzoin Infused · For Natural Resin Burning
These cups are crafted from charcoal infused with benzoin resin — not filled, but imbued. The benzoin in the cup material itself activates with the initial light, producing a purifying first wave of smoke that is used to cleanse living spaces, dispel negative energies, and remove the evil eye.
Once the cup reaches a glowing ember — typically 3 to 5 minutes — the ritual deepens: a spoonful of Mystic Sutra natural resin mix is placed into the glowing hollow. The resin melts slowly onto the ember, releasing a second wave of smoke charged with specific intent — protection, abundance, peace, or purification depending on the resin chosen.
This is a daily ritual practice rooted in ancient Indian and Middle Eastern tradition. The charcoal cup is the vessel; the resin is the intention.

Spent Wood Powder & Pure Benzoin · Soft Luxurious Burn
The natural alternative to the charcoal cup — these are made from spent wood powder blended with pure benzoin resin, giving them a warm tan colour and a distinctly softer, more luxurious burn character compared to the charcoal variant. No black charcoal, no harsh heat — just a gentle, steady ember.
The application and ritual purpose are identical: light the cup, allow the initial benzoin smoke to purify the space and dissolve negative energies, then place Mystic Sutra natural resin mix onto the glowing ember to fill the space with sacred, intent-driven fragrance. The wood powder base produces a slightly cooler ember that is especially well-suited for delicate resins and floral botanicals.
Preferred by those who want the full ritual without the intensity of charcoal — a gentler, more meditative experience.

For filled cups (Loban, Panchagavya, Rangoli) — just a holder and a flame. For empty Mystic Sutra ritual cups — follow the two-stage method below.
Set the cup in a heat-resistant sambrani stand, small bowl of sand, or traditional brass holder.
Hold a flame to the edge of the cup for 10–15 seconds until it catches and begins to glow at the rim.
Blow out the flame. The cup will smoulder on its own, releasing a steady column of fragrant smoke.
Each cup burns for 10–20 minutes. Walk it through rooms or let it settle in a space. For filled cups, the ritual is complete.
Once the empty Mystic Sutra cup is a glowing ember (3–5 min), use a spoon to place your chosen natural resin mix into the hollow. The resin melts onto the ember, releasing a second wave of sacred, intent-driven smoke.
Step 5 applies to Mystic Sutra Charcoal & Pure Benzoin Sambrani empty cups only. Loban, Panchagavya filled cups and Rangoli are complete after Step 4.
